15 years ago, Brynne had a vision for an upscale consignment boutique…

and here we are today! Still brilliant as can be with one change- long-time employee, Katelyn Hartman, has turned owner!

The original owner, new owner, and some of the previous AMAZING staff of RPS.

Here’s the whole short story-

Brynne loved to experiment with new styles, but needed a place to recycle clothes and shop affordably. Having owned previous businesses in the East Hills area, she decided to invest in the local scene by opening a consignment shop in the historic Blackport Building. With neighbors like Global Infusion and Clothing Matters Brynne could not have picked a better location.

15 years passed by and many dedicated staff came through to deepen the character and unique style of RPS. One employee, Katelyn, had a very long run as a returning associate throughout the years of 2014-2021. She loved working at RPS and became the shop manager around 2021. Katelyn is a long-time thrifter and second-hand enthusiast and dreamt of becoming a business owner.

As of February 2025, that dream came true! The legacy that is Rock Paper Scissors Consignment Boutique can continue on.

“Brynne, thank you a million times over for taking me on back in the wee year of 2014- who would have thought that it would become my destiny to carry the torch!” - KH
